Hilaturas Arnau is capable of blending a wide range of FR fibers to achieve different purposes tailored to customer needs. The blends can include:
 

  • PREOX, LOI 50.
  • PBI, LOI 43.
  • Para-aramid/meta-aramid, LOI 30/35.
  • PBO, LOI 68, the highest in the world, with continuous temperatures over 500 ºC and maximum temperatures up to 600 ºC without melting or burning.
  • LOI is the Limiting Oxygen Index.
  • The threads are made of these fibers, either alone or in combination.
  • Other technical fibers can also be added, such as Vectran, Nexylon, Tecstar, FR viscose, polyimide (PI), and UHMWPE.
