Thermal stability to 600 °C — highest of any organic fiber. Continuous use above 500 °C without melting or burning.
Tensile strength approx. 10× that of steel by weight.
LOI 68 — the highest Limiting Oxygen Index in the world. Does not ignite in standard atmosphere.
Low thermal expansion — dimensional stability under extreme thermal cycling.
Excellent chemical resistance.
Low friction coefficient — suitable for sliding and bearing applications.
Our recycled PBO/PREOX/PARA blend is independently certified to EN ISO 6942:2022 Code C4 (radiant heat resistance), with an RHTI 24 of 124.1 seconds, and Code A1 limited flame spread (ISO 15025:2016), tested by LEITAT (Report IN-02811/2025-1).
